What this is

Subnetsplit is a CIDR subnet calculator that runs entirely in your browser. You enter a parent CIDR block and subnet requests. The tool computes a non-overlapping allocation plan and displays the result. No data is sent to any server, no account is required, and no persistent storage is used.

No accounts, no stored data

Subnetsplit does not offer user accounts, authentication, or any mechanism for storing data between visits. Every session starts fresh. The tool does not set cookies, use local storage, or write any data to your device.

Use at your own risk

This tool performs mathematical calculations on the input you provide. While every effort has been made to ensure correctness — verified against RFC 3021, standard subnetting references, and multiple test cases — the output is provided as-is without any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. You are responsible for verifying any allocation plan before applying it to a production network.

No liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator disclaims all liability for any damages arising from the use or inability to use this tool, including but not limited to network outages, address conflicts, configuration errors, or data loss resulting from incorrect allocation plans.

No service guarantees

This website is provided on a best-effort basis. There is no uptime guarantee, no SLA, and no support commitment. The tool may be modified, taken offline, or discontinued at any time without notice.

Free tier

Subnetsplit is completely free. No payment information is required to use the tool. The full browser-based calculator is available with unlimited calculations, overlap verification, CSV export, and clipboard copy. No account is needed. There are no paid tiers, no subscriptions, and no charges at any time.

Do not use this tool to probe, scan, or test the availability of any network without authorisation.
Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the client-side code for use in a competing product.
Do not use automated scripts or bots to generate excessive requests to this site.

Governing law

The operator has not yet designated a governing law or jurisdiction. These terms are presented as a framework and do not currently constitute a binding legal agreement. Once the operator registers a legal entity and designates a jurisdiction, these terms will be updated accordingly.
