What this policy covers

This policy describes how Subnetsplit handles information when you use the tool at this website. Subnetsplit is a CIDR subnet calculator that runs entirely in your browser.

No data collection

Subnetsplit does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. All computation — CIDR parsing, subnet allocation, overlap verification, CSV generation — runs locally in your browser using JavaScript. No data is sent to any server.

The website is hosted on Cloudflare's edge network. Cloudflare processes standard HTTP request metadata (IP address, user-agent, request path, timestamps) as part of normal content delivery. This data is subject to Cloudflare's own privacy policy and is not accessible to or used by the product operator.

Cookies and local storage

Subnetsplit does not set any cookies and does not use browser local storage, session storage, or any other persistent client-side storage mechanism. No data is written to your device by this site.

The theme preference (light or dark mode) is stored by your browser session only and is not persisted between visits.

Third-party services

This site loads font files from Google Fonts (IBM Plex Mono and IBM Plex Sans). Your browser requests these fonts from Google's servers, which may log your IP address and user-agent. This is subject to Google's privacy policy and is outside the control of the product operator. No other third-party services are used — no analytics, no trackers, no advertising networks, no social media widgets.

Children's privacy

This service is a technical tool for network engineering. It is not directed at children under 13, and no data is collected from any user regardless of age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. No separate notice will be provided.
